Hometown to me has always been the town square, especially in a downtown metro setting, and at night when it's quiet and everything seems magical.
I couldn't decide between the two because I love photos in black & white, so I am putting both.

I always liked the night shots done in color b/c the lights look like glistening gold sparkles....Ü But in this case, I think I like the B & W....actually I like both!

Very nice town square...I've never been to Buffalo but it looks like a good place to visit. I can't decide which image I like better...I keep changing my mind, LOL. I guess that means they're BOTH good. :) So glad you decided to join the challenge and look forward to seeing more of your images.

Nice pics, but not half as exciting as your journal. I read it until I was out of breath, then discovered I hadn't even made it through two days worth. I try to stay away from the ER, but God bless you and what you do. How do you keep such a positive attitude?

My eyes are drawn to the b/w for some reason... Just that "late winter's night downtown" feel to it, I guess. Both great shots, though!

Town squares are so cool for so many reasons. I have to say I prefer the black and white on this photograph - the contrasts of light and dark.

I like the color because the green contrast on the building on the back gives the photo life but I do like black and white photo's.

I like the B+W because it'slike how electric lights looked backin the olddays before they,like, had electricity and stuff.
